Dr. Jamie Rife, Treasurer, joined the NAEHCY Board in October 2017. Prior to becoming a cofounder of Purposity, an organization originally designed to mobilize communities in support of students experiencing homelessness, Dr. Jamie Rife spent over 15 years in public education. She served as the State Coordinator for the Education of Homeless Children and Youth at the Colorado Department of Education and a Federal Program Specialist for Homeless Education, Migrant Education, and English Learners in a district in metro Atlanta. Her career in education encompasses time spent as a school administrator, Homeless Education Liaison, Graduation Coach and classroom teacher. She earned her Ed.D. in educational leadership from Liberty University, M.Ed. in educational administration and policy from the University of Georgia and completed her B.A. in Spanish and sociology at the State University of New York College at College.
