Catherine Knowles, Liaisons for the Nashville City Schools – Catherine has been serving the students of the Metro Nashville Public Schools’ HERO program for 20 years. Not only is she a fountain of knowledge on all things McKinney-Vento, Catherine is a shining light in the lives of the over 3,000 students identified as experiencing homelessness each year in metro Nashville and works tirelessly to see to each and every need of her students. She’s a shining of example of what it means to serve and advocate for our children, particularly in a community with drastically increasing housing costs and the challenges of one of the nation’s fastest-growing economies. – read more about the work Catherine does in the community, here.
