Susie Terry has over 30 years of experience in human services and education and has consulted with a wide array of stakeholder groups on substantial public issues within the education and social service arenas.  She currently serves as the McKinney-Vento Liaison for the San Diego County Office of Education (SDCOE), whose program was recently named one of three Homeless Education Technical Assistance Centers for the state of CA.  Susie provides professional development and program support to school districts and community organizations serving students and families who are homeless.  Working in the second largest county in CA for the past 8 years, Susie has been a champion for the over 20,000 students experiencing homelessness and the 43 school districts that serve them.  Susie received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from U.C. Berkeley and her Master of Public Health degree from San Diego State University.
