Holly Bills’ career can best be described through the lens of philanthropy, writing, small business, and non-profit management. She brings over 17 years of experience in the housing and homeless services sector to her board role for NAEHCY.
As Grants Manager for the Tull Charitable Foundation, she plays a crucial role in supporting the Executive Director with operations and grantmaking. This includes developing and managing the applicant pipeline, handling grant management functions, supporting the Board of Trustees, and building relationships within the nonprofit and philanthropic communities. Holly’s expertise in nonprofit management, particularly in finance, accounting, grant management, and human resources, is instrumental in furthering the Foundation’s mission to co-create a more just and equitable future through partnerships and investments in Metro Atlanta communities.
Holly is a fervent advocate for students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity, believing that current circumstances should never dictate an individual’s future or perceived abilities. She views NAEHCY’s capacity-building work as a vital catalyst for developing efficiencies and innovations in service delivery, ultimately leading to client-centric and compassionate outcomes. She believes NAEHCY has the unique ability to amplify critical issues, ensuring widespread dissemination, education, and ultimately—action.
Furthering education equity and excellence is the great equalizer for those experiencing chronic or episodic homelessness.
