He also leads critical engagement efforts between shareholders and Uber’s board of directors, ensuring ESG priorities align with the needs of both shareholders and the broader stakeholder universe.
Alvin is a passionate advocate for students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity. He firmly believes that no young person should feel left behind, especially when it comes to their ability to obtain an education, regardless of their circumstances. His deep commitment to community service drives him to find solutions that close gaps and empower young people toward security and self-sufficiency, a dedication reflected in his leadership through various nonprofit and public-private partnerships.
