What’s New This Year

You asked, and we listened. The 2026 NAEHCY Conference introduces new enhancements designed to expand access, increase flexibility, and support meaningful engagement for all participants.

In response to member feedback, NAEHCY is introducing a redesigned On-Demand Conference Experience in place of a live virtual option.

This new model allows participants to engage with conference content on their own schedule while maintaining access to the high-quality sessions and speakers that define the NAEHCY experience.

The 2026 NAEHCY Conference offers flexible registration options designed to meet the needs of individuals, teams, and learners at every stage of their professional journey. Whether you plan to attend the conference in person or engage through on-demand access, there is a pathway for you.

Conference Hotel Accommodations

NAEHCY is excited to host the 2026 Annual Conference at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, a premier destination featuring breathtaking indoor gardens, cascading waterfalls, and a vibrant, all-in-one conference environment designed to inspire connection and learning. This renowned resort offers an immersive experience where attendees can learn, network, and recharge—all in one location. The 2026 NAEHCY Annual Conference host hotel is the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center, located at 2800 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.

NAEHCY Conference Hotel Block

Due to the popularity of the Gaylord Opryland Resort and to ensure that registered conference participants have access to accommodations, hotel rooms within the NAEHCY conference block are reserved exclusively for registered attendees.

NAEHCY has negotiated a discounted room rate for conference registrants:

  • $279.00 per night, plus applicable taxes
    (currently 9.75% State Tax, 7% Occupancy Tax, and $2.50 City Tax) 

A limited number of rooms are available at the prevailing government per diem rate in effect at the time of the conference. This rate is only available to guests who present a valid federal government or military ID at check-in. Otherwise, the standard conference rate will apply.

To receive the discounted group rate, reservations must be made by October 8, 2026. Please note that rooms may sell out prior to this date, and reservations made after the cut-off date will be offered at the hotel’s then-available rate.

Accessing the Gaylord Opryland NAEHCY Conference Hotel Block

While room rates are outlined above, hotel reservations can only be made after completing conference registration.

Upon registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing instructions for booking your hotel accommodations. Please note that this room block is reserved exclusively for registered attendees, and availability is monitored to help ensure access throughout the registration period.

Hotel reservation confirmations will be sent directly by the hotel to the email address used at the time of booking.

Call for Proposals: Share Your Expertise at NAEHCY 2026 – Coming Soon

NAEHCY invites educators, practitioners, researchers, and advocates to share their knowledge and promising practices at the 2026 Annual Conference. Presenting at NAEHCY offers a meaningful opportunity to contribute to national conversations, highlight innovative strategies, and support the professional growth of colleagues serving children and youth experiencing homelessness.

The conference will feature a wide range of breakout sessions designed to elevate effective practices, foster collaboration, and strengthen systems across early childhood, K–12, postsecondary, and cross-system partnerships.

Call for Proposals Timeline
The Call for Proposals for breakout sessions will open in early May 2026. We encourage interested presenters to begin preparing ideas and to stay tuned for additional details, including submission guidelines and priority topic areas.
