August 25 @ 3:00 pm
This Session: Effective communication is essential to building awareness, strengthening partnerships, and ensuring that students experiencing homelessness and foster care remain visible in our schools and communities. This session will provide practical communication strategies to help McKinney-Vento professionals, Foster Care Points of Contact, and advocates reach more people, share your work, and build greater understanding and support for the students and families you serve.
The previously scheduled webinar, “Getting to the Heart of McKinney-Vento: Building a Sustainable Training and Awareness Plan for School Staff and Community Partners,” has been replaced with a new and timely session.
