March Movers: Aligning Grants and Collaboration to Strengthen Student Support
March 24 @ 7:30 am – 8:00 am
March Rise & Brew
March is a pivotal planning period for McKinney-Vento programs. As grant continuations are drafted and federal and specialized programs finalize spring decisions, the MV liaison’s role is to align systems to support students experiencing homelessness across shifting timelines.
This session explores how to use Community Needs Assessment (CNA) insights to inform grant continuations and activate cross-program collaboration and wraparound supports. We will look at the realities of differing eligibility windows and school-of-origin considerations for MV student transitions.
Participants Will Explore:
- Using CNA data to strengthen (not overextend) grant continuation narratives
- What strong, sustainable grant writing looks like as we prepare for next year.
- Spring coordination across Title I, Title IV, EL/Dual Language, Special Education, CTAE, and Neglected & Delinquent programs
- Designing tiered wraparound support models for families and unaccompanied youth
- Leveraging community partnerships and structured round-robin coordination
- Closing system gaps when timelines and program eligibility don’t align
We look forward to seeing you on March 24, 2026 at 7:30 am for our March Rise & Brew.
