We’re seeking an engaging and confident emcee to help shape the experience of our 38th Annual Conference, taking place October 31 – November 3, 2026, in Nashville, Tennessee.
This is a unique opportunity to serve as the voice of the conference—guiding attendees, elevating key moments, and creating a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere for participants from across the country.

Emcee Competition Entry
When ready, email your completed application to conference@naehcy.org. Be sure to include “Emcee Competition Entry” in the subject line and attach all required materials, including your video link.
Applications for the 2026 NAEHCY Conference Emcee are now open. Please review the information below before submitting your application materials.
- Submit a Bio: Share a brief introduction, including relevant experience with public speaking or event hosting
- Tell Us Why You’re a Great Fit: Provide a short statement describing why you are the ideal candidate
- Show Us Your Skills: Submit a video (maximum 3 minutes) demonstrating your emcee style, presence, and audience engagement
- Submit by Friday, June 30, 2026: Email your materials, including a link to your video, to conference@naehcy.org with the subject line “Emcee Competition Entry”
Competition Notes
- Open to all NAEHCY members
- Applications must be received by Friday, June 30, 2026 at 11:59 pm (EDT)
- A panel of NAEHCY stakeholders will review submissions
- Finalists may be invited to participate in a virtual interview
- The selected Emcee will be announced in early September
- NAEHCY reserves the right to select co-emcees for the conference
What We’re Looking For

- Strong stage presence and ability to engage an audience
- Clear, confident communication
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt in real time
- Professionalism and composure
Role Responsibilities
- Facilitate general sessions and guide the flow of the conference
- Introduce keynote speakers, panelists, and presenters
- Maintain timing and ensure smooth transitions
- Engage the audience through announcements, highlights, and interaction
- Collaborate with NAEHCY staff and A/V team
Time Commitment
- The selected emcee must be available for the full duration of the conference, including pre-conference preparation.
- Required Arrival: Friday, October 30, 2026.
- Emcee responsibilities will begin with conference programming and conclude on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at approximately 2:00 pm
